Background Story[]
Shin Eugene has been dreaming of becoming a great detective since 10 after watching the famous comic "Detective Donan."
Although she lacks the talents for her dream, she strives for her dream. People nicknamed her the "annoying detective."
One day Eugene learns about Kain's research on a new type of drug from a news article. The article recounts the accidental death of Kain's brother Abel during their experiment. Eugene perceives something evil with the incident, and tries to convey her opinion to the people around her, but people do not sympathize with her.
Shortly after, people realize that the Kain's new medication is "Obedience" that control people's rationality, but people around Eugene have already been brainwashed by the chemical to serve Kain.
Eugene enlists in R.E.A.P to free her family from Obedience. Although she has expected to be commissioned as the general staff or at the headquarters of operations, she is recognized for her pilot proficiency and appointed to Goddess Kiss.
Even at Goddess Kiss, she is busy pretending to be a detective, sometimes being quite a burden to the team.
